Getting Ready for the New Season
Thoughts have already turned to the new season which will start at Easter-time. Our little Visitor Centre and Heritage Room is being prepared for 2012. We aim to provide a really warm welcome, appropriate tourist information, a special tourist attraction and one or two souvenirs (made locally) for those who visit to take away with them should they wish. For many of our visitors to the glebe pilgrimage pathway, the Glebe Cross has become an icon of their time here and so Drew has designed and made a prototype Glebe Cross clock which will be available in the centre and also on line by Easter. Here Drew demonstrates the clock in front of the fire in the manse lounge -- well, it was a very cold day! Work is also being done on blankets woven at the manse and a number of other special items which will be revealed as they arrive.
