It has just been prepared -- a new avenue on the glebe which tells the story of Luss's Green Pilgrimage City partners. There is one plaque for each of our eleven partners, and one which tells something of how the Green Pilgrimage City partnerships were created. Each plaque has a magic spot on it. When a 'speaking pen' (available from the Pilgrimage Centre) is touched to the spot then the story of that Green Pilgrimage City is told.

 

Winding off from the centre of the avenue is a little path leading to the Glebe Cross. Along this path will be a series of plaques describing the commitments made by each green pilgrimage place, and an indication of what we in Luss are doing to match up to those commitments.

 

Now that the better weather has arrived more and more people are coming to the Glebe and we are working hard to ensure that there is plenty to challenge our visitors as they walk around this special place on the banks of Loch Lomond.
